Positive surprise, ordered another one right away
I am not a licensed radio amateur, yet, so I use this radio just to listen and to get hands on experience on using and configuring such a radio. The preconfigured license free PMR446 channels work fine with my Motorola T-series radios. After many Baofeng reviews around the Net I was expecting a cheap toy but was very positively surprised by the feel of quality on this radio – display, keypad, volume control knob, even the packaging.Programming the radio with Chirp and a basic programming cable went smoothly on the first try.I like this radio to such an extent that I ordered another one the same day I got the first one.Maybe all Baofengs are like this, though. I do not have a reference. I am happy with this TechSide variant.I am waiting on the delivery of a power and SWR meter and a basic spectrum analyzer to see what this radio outputs. What are the output levels and how clean the transmission is.

Overall Good
The radio arrived fast and I tested for a few days in some places on my vacation. Forest, city, mountain and sea. It was pretty good. You want more power, change the antenna. Even with the Tech side antenna you could get enough area but if you need more power, get another one. Actually it is a good radio. A little too expensive but on general it is a good choice. I don't know if there is some improvement after the Baofeng uv5r 8w model. After my opinion is the same performance.Update:I decide to buy another one just because of the team from Tech side. They really do the best to offer a good service and a good product. Hopefully they will keep going and improve the performance.

TS-T2 Not compatible
According to the Installation of the Device for the USB Cable, the Installation of the Programming Software and the Control of the Port Installation in the Hardware Manager and in the Software is not available for Win7- or even for Win10.

adequate quality/price, we'll see if they last over time
A nice PMR/LPD radio with Midland-style preset channels, UHF/VHF bands with 128 channels and 8 watts of power, the 1800 mA battery is a bit weak if used at high power often. Good quality of materials and the portable radio antenna. Easy to use and sufficient accessories included, professional earphone. A CAR CHARGER WOULD HAVE BEEN DESIRABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! included in the price and package. Otherwise an excellent purchase, free and easy to use CHIRP programming software. It would be nice to have a preloaded file for local "radio bridges"... but they sell radios... and they do it well.

Perfect
Basically a Baofeng UVR5 but with the addition of PMR and LPD channels which remain set even when resetting the radio, convenient even if it is not an approved product,

TECHSIDE TS-T9+ Transmitter Rice
Very simple to use, good condition in TX and equally in RX. Good talking car clarity and good microphone sensitivity. Since the keyboard is not very large, reading the quick access submenus via the keyboard is sometimes a little challenging. Overall good product for the purchase price

Excellent above average product, the internal capsule is facing upwards as it should be. The fixing clip is movable and rubberized. Convenient that both cables are spiraled unlike others that hang and are annoying. The packaging is also convenient for transport when not in use

Very useful accessory in airsoft sessions
The audio quality is surprisingly clear in both reception and transmission. The ergonomics are well thought out, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit. When combined with a shoulder speaker, they proved both comfortable and functional.

Affordable but functional device with an excellent quality/price ratio
The TechSide TI-F8 is a VHF+UHF handheld transceiver for amateur radio use whose use requires specific qualification (license), it is an "improved" clone of the Baofeng UV-5R compared to which, for an equally competitive price, it offers some additional features that justify its preference, namely the provision of the already channeled PMR446 and LPD bands (8 and 69 channels, respectively) and the adjustment of transmission power on three levels (8, 4, and 1 Watt), as well as an instruction manual in Italian (finally!!!) and assistance on our territory guaranteed by the importer's own brand, also Italian.Honest and unpretentious apparatus, cheap (plastic) but functional and with an excellent quality/price ratio, the only flaws, the squelch circuitally simplified (which allowed to cut costs but on the other hand does not prove to be very precise and sensitive), the lack of the rotary channel changer, the position at the top of the "up "and "down" buttons that would have been more convenient on the right side of the hand control, the feeling of fragility due to the uncertainty of the contacts of the side connectors for microphone and headset, the display a bit small for the not-so-young users who need to equip themselves with reading glasses, nevertheless the apparatus is recommended, especially to the neophytes of amateur radiantism, who for a few euros can take home a handheld bibanda fun and with performance similar to that of much more emblazoned apparatus costing ten times more.

Nice and sturdy but…
I still need to find someone to explain how it works! The manual assumes you already know everything about it. The ad doesn't clarify that using it is illegal without a permit and annual fee from the relevant government agencies... but it's a nice device, it feels professional, and it comes with everything you need.

Discreet
The price was massively inflated. I could have bought an identical one for half the money. I'm waiting to see it in use. For now, I can only say it's very expensive for the product. Changing the name can't increase the price since the same model with a different name costs half as much.

just one word "beautiful"
To be honest, I bought this product for its price, with very, very low expectations, but I have to admit that it far exceeds my wildest expectations: easy, lightweight, compact, good audio, and excellent coverage. In short, €59 was well spent... I'm still testing it out, but so far I have to admit that I like it a lot.

Radio Techside
VHF/UHF two-band radio. Equipped with 128 storable channels partly already programmed with midland configuration (PMR + LPD). Overall it works very well in both receiving and transmitting. I don't have an instrument to measure the actual output power but I can see that it reaches several km away (at least 20 km). It hooks up well to radio links in my vicinity. Some functions are programmable are via CHIRP and then you have to have the appropriate cable to buy separately (perhaps it should have been specified better). The radio however is robust and also seems to be resistant to water and dust. The battery charge also has a good life span, it lasts easily the whole day (with mostly listening).

So far excellent
Very good product, works excellently and hooks up radio links many miles away on both available bands.Well accessorized although I did not use the headphones a supplied.Only drawback, the volume/power knob becomes a little hard when near maximum volume not affecting its operation.Good antenna included.I have not yet tried live transmission between devices without going through the radio link.Battery up to par but not super.Let's see with the next recharges if it improves.Product also promoted with flying colors in relation to the price.Very good!

The antenna is a bit poor. Not even a radio link.
Long but poor quality Baofeng antenna, I tried from my garden from the same point where I connect several bridges with my portable radio, unfortunately with this antenna I cannot connect anything at all, unfortunately I had to return it.

Excellent product for quality and price, EXCELLENT RECEPTION (tested in a radius of about 1.2km outdoors without obstacles, and interior from the semi-basement to the 3 floor) ideal for those who practice trekking, remarkable courtesy of the seller, having I had problems with the setting of the vox function, and contacted the seller in a few hours I was contacted and helped in the settings. (thank you for the kindness) Recommended.

Good product like all Tech Side ones
Good headphones. I had to return the first one I received because it didn't work. I received a quick refund and bought it again. My only advice to the seller is to test the products first to avoid sending defective ones. Otherwise, I only use Tech Side headphones and am satisfied.

Economical and efficient transceivers
The apparatus is a restyling of a well-known and popular Chinese model among amateur radio operators, produced by Baofeng. This is a plus, because it can safely use all the accessories compatible with that model and is easily programmed with a good quality cable (be wary of cheap cables), with no need to install any drivers (I use a Mac but I am told that this is also the case on PCs). The design is more polished and finished than the Baofengs, the maximum power has been increased, and the radio is nice and solid. To use all its functions, it is essential to master the programming software. However, do not expect miracles that no apparatus in this category can perform: as the crow flies, unobstructed, the communication range can reach several kilometers, especially if at least one of the two apparatuses is in an elevated position. In the city, from the inside of one building to another, one can talk at close distances (on the order of a hundred meters). From inside the cockpit of a car, with the windows closed, it is almost like being inside a building so the range will be a few hundred meters at most. Outdoors, between buildings, it will be 1 or 2 kilometers. All radios operating on these frequencies with antennas of this size and without a repeater have similar performance, regardless of brand. That said, these devices do with a few tens of euros what other much more expensive devices do, and they are excellent forklifts to work with. If they also had the scrambler function, they would be perfect.

8W real
The typical baofeng uvr5 but sold and reviewed by Italian seller. It has the ability to transmit at 3 levels of intensity, and the "high" transmission is supposed to be at 8 watts. We will see over time reliability and battery life.Ok time has passed and beyond a replacement due to a key that did not respond well the product is stra-valid.I am pleased to find seriousness and professionalism from the Italian seller. The difference from the regular baofeng is only the real transmission power (not technically tested) which on the distance and clarity of the signal is unrivaled.I who am not an amateur radio operator use it on normal walkie talkie channels. And when signals are lost you hear everyone and everyone hears you. Masterpiece also essential in case of zombie apocalypse, third or fourth world wars or even to listen to the radio--it even has FM!

Toy appliance. Faulty Kenwood door.
I knew I could not expect much from this kind of device, but it managed to disappoint me beyond expectations. The jack to which the programming cable is to be attached is defective. In order to have the radio read or write from the chirp program, I am forced to hold the jack plugs down hard the entire time chirp is downloading or uploading, and just the slightest movement is enough to lose the connection. In addition, the radio picks up a lot of rf noise, often going into reception for no reason.

BAOFENG TRANSCEIVER HEADPHONES
The earpiece for the Baofeng 999 transceiver, distance between the 2 poles 11 mm, is currently an excellent product. It fits well in the ear, you can hear very well, and the wire does not hang because it stretches for what is needed.

Good radio with lots of power.
Product exactly as described. Solid to the touch, compact but with buttons sufficiently spaced from each other and easy to press. Software similar to the more classic Baofeng, perhaps not easy to understand for beginners, but all the programming information can be found online. Good reception and transmission with the supplied antenna. No problems connecting radio links. Long battery life. The company has worked well on this radio and offers other really very interesting products. I remind you that to be able to transmit, you must have an amateur radio operator license, while simply listening does not require any authorization. Product arrived on time and well packaged.
